She was ready to settle for less. Her mentors showed her she didn't have to.

Elizabeth, a 10th grader at Delta Academy, picked a career path just to get out — not because she believed she could reach for more.

Then Skillify connected her with two mentors, in cosmetology and healthcare, and let her explore both. Four weeks in, she chose healthcare — because she finally believed she could. Two months later, her mom saw "a complete 180": grades up, new friends, "happy and motivated."
